It has been two years since Chloe x Halle released their debut album, The Kids Are Alright, and now the Official did you want to talk to the nurse in charge or the cna who knows what’s going on shirt In addition,I will do this two sisters are back with brand new music. This past week, the R&B duo released their latest single, “Do It.” To mark the occasion, the two artists took over Balmain’s Instagram today for a live performance of the track. Joining the stream from their living room in Los Angeles, Chloe and Halle also took time to chat with Balmain’s creative director Olivier Rousteing, who is based in Paris. And they did so fabulously, dressed to in two looks from the French house’s spring 2020 collection: Halle in a sharp-shouldered dress in a geometric yellow and black print, Chloe in a black dress with transparent mesh paneling. With only a soft blueprint in place for the re-opening of New York City, the fate of fashion week still hangs in the balance. Regardless of what governmental measures will be in place at the time, the logistics of Jean-Raymond’s concept will be complicated to say the least, starting with the location. Save for one much-buzzed about diner-turned-movie-theater in Queens, there are no drive-in venues in the city. And that’s not to mention the issue of transportation. That said, Jean-Raymond has always been the kind of designer to think big. With an audience of three thousand and a choir of 70-plus voices, his last show set a new precedent for fashion experiences, one that reverberated along social media channels for weeks after. If Jean-Raymond can pull this off, he’ll be leading the way at a time when the fashion world is in desperate need of solutions.
Rousteing began the Official did you want to talk to the nurse in charge or the cna who knows what’s going on shirt In addition,I will do this Instagram Live by talking about Chloe x Halle’s upcoming album, Ungodly Hour, set to drop in June. “We’re so happy to be releasing music again,” said Halle in response to Rousteing. “We were holding onto this body of work for so long,” added Chloe. The two sisters also spoke about how they are staying creative while living under lockdown. “You have to figure out new ways to excite and inspire yourself,” said Chloe. With Halle on the guitar, they sang an acoustic version of their new song, while Rousteing (and many tuned-in fans) watched admiringly. After their one-set performance, Chloe and Halle then attempted to teach Rousteing the “Do It” dance which they had launched the day before on Balmain’s TikTok. “I tried to learn the dance on TikTok,” Rousteing told the two sisters before giving the challenge a go. “Girls, it’s so complicated!” After a few tries, however, all three of them were in sync and performed the dance flawlessly. Clearly Rousteing’s TikTok dancing practice has paid off.
